Church Ads and Bulletin Covers These are just some basic newspaper ads for Scobey United Methodist Church advertising services and an annual event.
In 2000 the community of Scobey hosted an All-Class High School Reunion. Over a thousand came. The festivities included a community ecumenical service. The only bulletin cover I am posting right now is the cover I designed for that service. For the pleasure of designing the cover I endured photocopying half of the one thousand multi-page 8.5x14 bulletins (the Lutheran Church in the community did the other half). Praise God another volunteer folded and assembled. After the service Terry Farver, a farmer in the area came up to me and said "Those are my bins." Sure enough, he told me where they were and that is where I photographed them. Later, I printed a nice copy of the image, framed it and gave it to him and his wife. 2000 All Scobey Worship Service Bulletin Cover
