Lewis and Clark:
If you attended a camp this summer and visited the museum during the Lewis and Clark exhibit, you qualified for this Council Service Strip, and you need to have your den leader order it. Good Going. Mow, start working on the next Strip…
Leadership:
With the beginning of the new year, we have some leadership changes:
Welcome our New Leaders for the Wolves, and the New Tiger Den.
I’m also looking for some help with the Popcorn Sale this year. I’d like to find two people, a person to coordinate the sales and ordering, and another to help with the distribution.
Back to School Night Recruitment:
Thanks to all the new scouts that heard about Pack 6 through their schools. So far we recruited 17 scouts from the Back to School night we had, and 4-5 scouts have called and hopefully will attend tonight. We’ll have a prize for all new scouts tonight.
Haunting of Krupp Scout Hollow:
Be on the lookout for Goblins and Ghosts when your at the Haunting of Krupp Hollow on Oct 16. Hopefully all dens will add this day camp to your list of things to do in October.
Popcorn
Sales:
Hopefully everyone received a popcorn sales form in the mail. If you did not, I have lots-o-extras. Please pick a goal prize, and set out to sell you goal. In addition to the great prize you get, the Pack gets 30% to 40% of what you sell, which pays for Summer Camp, and any other expenses of the pack. If we do a good job on this, we’re home free for the rest of the year as far as fund raising.
Corn
Maze:
The Pack Committee is planning on visiting a corn maze this month for the monthly activity. The Den Leaders will be able to let you know when and where next week.
Thanks once again for allowing your scouts to be in Pack 6 and to learn the ways of scouting. It is time well spent. May the peace and grace of our Lord be with you and your family.

A Careful Scouter
by unknown
A careful Scouter I ought to
be,
A little Scout follows me.
I do not dare to go astray,
For fear he will go the self
same way.
Not once can I escape his
eyes,
Whatever he sees me do, he
tries.
Like me he says he's going to
be,
That little Scout who follows
me.
He thinks that I am good and
fine,
Believes in every word of
mine,
The bad in me he must not see,
That little Scout who follows
me.
I must remember as I go,
Through summer sun and winter
snow,
I'm building for the years to
be,
That little Scout who follows
me.
