Norm Ellefson drove the Tipke rear engine
house car in 1971. This was the very first Tipke
rear engine. The car was later driven by Pat Evans. Evans was involved in a crash with the front stretch wall at Portland, Oregon in 1972. The car caught fire and burned for 30 minutes while everyone waited for the fire department to arrive. |
