I would like to plan a four-day backpacking trip for six people somewhere in Eastern Idaho over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. The Lemhi Mountains are a possibility, but the guide books I've consulted don't seem to offer any hikes that could be stretched out over four days. Also, with the persistent cold weather, I am concerned about high snow levels in an area such as the Lost River Range.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
