Well it is not really about the Tetons but it is a big mountain! I just got back from a visit to the big island of Hawaii. While we were there we took the trek from sea level to the top of Mauna Kea at 13796 ft. (26 ft. taller than the Grand Teton). This is a replica of the Bench Mark on top...

Below is a link to a QuicktimeVR panorama I took from the top. It is fairly high res. so be sure to zoom in (in - shift key, out - ctrl key) and pan around. The mountains in the distance are Mauna Loa also on the island of Hawaii and Haleakala on the island of Maui. Four of the 10 telescopes in the world with mirrors larger than 8 meters reside on Mauna Kea. Be sure to notice the twin Keck domes which house the largest scope in the world. The file is over a 1 Mbyte so it will take a while to load. Have paience! If you don't have Quicktime you can download it for free from Apple.
