: Wasn't there a peak named Mt. Moran?
Ted,
Mt. Moran is visible from the east side of the Tetons in Jackson Hole. It is north of Grand Teton. It is one of my favorite mountains because of skillet glacier and its massive expanse. Although everyone is familar with the view from Jackson, ever since we have a place in Driggs, I have come to really appreciate the west side view and the side that brought the name of Les Trois Tetons. South Teton is not readily visible from the east side. MOre than you wanted to know, eh?
