Yes, it is smoke from area fires. Check out the image below to see the relationship between Tetoncam which looks east from its maked position and the two large Wyoming fires (Broad and South Fork II). It has been much worse in recent years when the fires are closer. The picture below is the hazy sunrise this morning.
