I am planning a backpacking trip in the last week of July. We have permits in the southern area of the park. (Phelps Lake, Mt. Hunt Divide, Marion Lake, Death Canyon Shelf area) I'm just looking for anyone with knowledge of the area to suggest things we should check out or things I should be aware of. This is out first trip to this area. Any info and suggestions would be appreciated.
