In Case You Missed It...... IONA DAYS 98
A very successful Iona Days 1998 was celebrated on July 22, 23, 24 and 25, 1998. The Melodrama played to a full house and provided fun and music for everyone. The ‘Thursday night and Friday night performances were preceded by delicious dinners of Dutch-Oven Chicken and a Salmon Fry. Crowds also enjoyed the Iona Lions Club Breakfast and delicious hamburgers while participating in Hot-Air Balloon rides , the annual Iona Days Fun Run , kids games baseball, basketball, Moonwalk jumping and shopping at the craft booths.
The annual Iona Days celebration is sponsored by the Iona City Council, encouraging the citizens of the area to come out and help celebrate the founding of Iona. Proceeds are used to benefit the continuing renovation of the Community Center.
