Open Water Class

What you get
 
At the end of the class you will be certified as an Open Water Diver, under SSI (Scuba School International).  SSI is a world wide certifying agency with affiliates in more than 65 countries.   The certification allows you to dive anywhere in the world, rent scuba gear and get tanks filled.
 
How Long
 
A normal class is 6 sessions followed by Open Water checkout dives.  That's usually held over a period of two days, Sat/Sun for example.   We use several spots for open water dives, some real close, some in Utah.
 
What You Need
 
Most of all a desire to learn and have fun.   We provide all the gear for the pool and open water dives.   We encourage your first purchase be of a personal items such as a mask, snorkel, fins, and boots.   A better of idea of what to get can be determined after a couple of pool sessions.
 
The Cost
 
The course fee is $250.00 which includes everything for class and pool.  Additional cost for open water may occur.   This depends on the time of year and the open water location.
 
The Classes
 
The classes & pool are on Friday nights.   The class portion is held at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at (551 South Capital)  The pool portion will be held at the Idaho Falls Aquatic Center at 8:50 p.m. to 11 p.m. (149 7th St.)  Corner of 7th and Blvd.
 
After Certication
 
You are encouraged to dive with us.   Both locally and to exotic locations.   There is a local Scuba Club that you can join to have more fun.   There is more to learn, Underwater Photography, Wreek diving, Night/Limited Visibility diving and more.
