For the safety and well-being of your children, we ask that the children wear boots, mittens, snow pants, etc. when it is snowing or there is snow on the ground. They should bring shoes to put on when they come inside. If boots are not worn, the child will be asked to stand by the wall so that their shoes don’t get soaked and they don’t risk falling on the slick ground. We don’t want the children to have cold, wet feet all day. It’s not conducive to learning.
When the plow makes a snow hill, we allow the children to play on it, IF they have snow pants, boots, mittens, etc.
