The Annual Fund
Investing God's Resources--Producing Eternal Returns
The Annual Fund is a critical component to the future success of Holy Rosary School, and it consists of unrestricted gifts that are used to help meet operational budget needs. The money raised through the Annual Fund helps ensure the best possible education for Holy Rosary School's students. While gifts to the school's endowment or building projects furnish long-term funding for the school, Annual Fund contributions represent money that can be used immediately. Thus, these contributions provide much needed dollars for current activities, which afford Holy Rosary School the flexibility of applying funds to the areas of greatest need, or indeed, greatest opportunity - at any particular time.

For more than eighty years and into a new century, Holy Rosary School has been synonymous with excellence and prominence in Christian and academic education. It has provided the area’s families an unparalleled choice in education, as is evident in the following quotations:

Because the Annual Fund supports the operational budget, it also helps to keep tuition and fees lower than would otherwise be necessary. In fact, tuition only covers about 56% of each student's educational cost. The remainder must come from parish subsidies, our Home and School Organization, and people like you who care.
The term "Annual Fund" refers to the fact that these gifts are needed each year. Beginning with the 2001-2002 school year, these gifts are top priority because they relate to the ongoing operation of the school. Without them, basic services are impaired and the remedy is to either cut services or increase cost to the students, neither of which is desirable.

For many students, your gift can mean the difference between continuing their education and dropping out. We're grateful for those who are capable of helping us in more substantial ways, but we also need gifts of all sizes. It is the multiplied gifts of many people that make the difference.
