Actions
The Holy Rosary Bi-parish School Improvement Leadership Team continue to ensure that meetings aimed at discussing the findings and conclusions are the driving force for school improvement at Holy Rosary for the 2001-2002 and future school years.
The areas of focused school improvement to be implemented January 1, 2002 through January 1, 2003 shall be the areas of Planned Change and Frequent Monitoring of Student Progress. In order to ensure that all actions are implemented successfully, periodic assessment of these areas will occur from January 1, 2003 through January 1, 2004, with assessment on these areas as needed thereafter. As a result, the school improvement team (parents, staff, and faculty) shall achieve effective school improvement in a timely and efficient manner that will result in higher student achievement for our children.

--Ensure that all new staff and students are made to feel welcome and a part of the group.
--Assign each new staff member a staff mentor.
Remove on staff meeting per month and replace it with a Department Meeting.
--Assign every new family a mentor family.
--Re-implement the parent-to-parent program to welcome new students and families and help with transition and introduction to school policies and procedures.
--Plan and execute a “Back to School Night” for the first week of school, and have mentor families contact their assigned families in order to ensure that all new families attend.
--Coordinate with Home and School on Family Socials. Ice cream social, Family Appreciation Day, Sock Hop, Fun Run, Auction.
Implement New Teacher In-service – to be an in-service training day run by the Principal with all new staff.
--Implement quarterly Faculty Socials and religious retreats.
