Indian Fishing Camp Lodge Information
Location: Right next to Gury Lake
Average Season from: September 15 to March 30.

Fishing: Mostly giant Peacock Bass but you can land also Payaras from time to time. Groups should see 20 to 30 fish a day in the boat as an average. They have from 5 to 14 pounds and bigger, 20-14 pounders has been landed frequently. Peacocks here like smaller baits like jogs and rattletraps as well as smaller stick and crank baits. Boats are 21 foot aluminum and fiberg glass design with 48 horse motors since Gury Lake is 80 miles long and 25 miles wide. Also the boats have electric trolling motors and depth finders. All guides are local and also fishermen with good knowledge of the Gury Lake.

Weather: Days are clear and hot with quite cool nights.
Accommodations: Thatch roofed bungalows with private baths, hot water and twin beds in each. Open air design, open bar and a restaurant on the premises for all meals.
Capacity: Has been limited to eight (8) anglers for preservation purposes.
Last improvements: Boat landing area has been improved, the canal from the boat landing has been cleared, it will allow accesing to productive areas quicker.
