Preston Flag

Washington, Custer, Lee, & Preston Flags:
Hartland included silk flags with the four sets listed. At one point, the O’Rourke figure was called Preston on a few brochures and he may have shipped for a short period with the Canadian Flag. After 40 years, these flags are very brittle and delicate. Even new, they were slightly transparent. They measure roughly 4" x 6". Some of the old flags still have a small sticker with the words “Hong Kong”.

While all four original flags are hard to find, the Preston flag is by far the most difficult. If you are lucky and keep your eyes open for them, it is possible to find some of these flags in random places at Flea Markets and Antique Malls.

Many repro flags are made out of rayon or polyester with thick plastic poles.
