REFERENCES TO HOBO SPIDER LITERATURE
This is currently a partial listing of journal articles, university extension bulletins, fact sheets and other publications dealing with the hobo spider and hobo spider poisoning. Some of the medical articles listed were published before the hobo spider became the known as the principle cause of necrotic arachnidism in the northwestern U.S. and adjacent Canada; these articles reported hobo spider bites as Loxosceles (brown recluse spider) bites. Many of the articles listed here can be obtained at university libraries, but some are difficult to find, and must be obtained from the source of production, or from the author. All are listed in order of the date of publication, with the most recent appearing at the top of the list. This list will be updated as further articles are published.
