Newsletter
Corvettes of Southeast Idaho
www.srv.net/~csei/csei.htm
As you can tell by the formatting, or lack thereof, something is different.
That something is we have moved, and the newsletter disk was packed. First,
let me thank all of you who came out and helped us move, it really was
appreciated. Next, let me apologize to you for the meekness of this newsletter,
and to apologize to some of the new members whose information was packed
with the disk. Hopefully, we will be in our new house soon and up and running.
We had a great turnout for the highway clean-up, the best ever. Thank you
for coming out on a Sunday to keep our section of road clean. We also had
a good turnout at the dinner at BJ's Bayou. Pretty good eats, eh? We also
had several turn-out to the Taylor Chevrolet show and the Rexburg
4th of July parade. Remember, folks, these are our sponsor for
our show and it is good to show them our support as they show us theirs.
With all the support being shown by the club, it looks like this is going
to be a great corvette summer.
Some upcoming events that we should try and support include the Rexburg Air
Show, Boise Vette Fest, Iona Days, and Boomers Audio 1999 Audio and Car Show.
For more information on these events, see the Calendar of events, or call
me. Hopefully, our new phone will be hooked up and you can reach us at home
(via answering machine), but if not, call at 524-5410 ext 109 (hotel).
It's time to make your reservations for our show at West Yellowstone. Make
sure you get the corvette club rate, and you send in your registration form.
The next meeting will be at WHERE- JB's on Broadway, Idaho Falls, WHEN Sunday,
July 25th at 9:30 a.m. Time, place, date, I think I got it.
Save the Wave!!!
Due
to the editors moving this past week,
we have miss placed our member ship information which include the birthdays.
Happy Birthday to any one having a birthday this month. We will publish the
Birthdays for July and August in the next news letter if we have moved in
to our house by then. Sorry.
Don't Forget Dairy Queen
We meet at the Broadway Dairy Queen on the fist and third Thursdays during
the summer months. Hope to see you there. Dairy Queen has been giving us
a free shake with the purchase of a value meal.
And Away We go
After all the 4th of July events are cooled off here is another event to
take a Saturday. Reserve July 17. That is the date for the second annual
air show in Rexburg. Those I talked to that went last year were impressed.
The folks running the air show have said they will provide us with reserved
parking. I will know at a later date where that will be.
Suggest also that you bring lawn chairs, a cooler of ?????????? and maybe
some other snacks. If some of the ladies want to do a potluck (that way we
men folks can sample the ladies cooking) talk it over at the next get together.
I am thinking it starts at 10:00 AM so we will leave maybe 9:00 am from say
the Dairy Queen on west Broadway.
For those eager eaters you can always go to the restaurant across the street
for a light mini breakfast.(egg, pancake, hashbrowns, less than 3 bucks.)
But remember we leave at 9:00 AM sharp.
So mark it on your busy calendar, and let us know so they can reserve parking
. AND AWAY WE GO AGAIN
PS, call Egon for a head-count.

I am so pleased to announce that 10 excited women are attending the WWW(Wild Women's Weekend). We will be leaving Saturday, July 31a.m. attending the performance of Phantom of the Opera, dining that evening at Mullboons. The designated motel has not been chosen nor has the means of transportation. Opinions are encouraged. Ladies, if you can now attend and are cussing that you put off the decision to go, I am so pleased to announce that here is an invitation for you. You will need to make your own reservation for Phantom. The number is 1-888-451-2787 or www.arttix.org. Let me know so I can include you in the creative activity planning. Who is the chair for the creative activity plans? I am a little lacking in that department. We really do need to come home with memories.

Call Betty at 523-5600 Wk. Or 524-2932 Hm
We had approximately 30 people helping clean the highway. It was the best
turn out we have ever had. With all the help it only took a couple hours
and the club treated every one who helped to an ice cream cone or Sunday
afterwards. Tell the family members who helped thanks also.
Due to our move, we have missed placed the Zip drive with the membership
information on it. We are using an old membership list for this news letter.
We will make sure the corrections, and new members get on the next news letter
(if we find the drive).
