It is nice to belong to an organization that has so many great members.
Betty went over to Boise on Thursday to watch Mandy at the State Track Meet.
That day Mandy took a second in the High Jump, and a fifth in the Triple
Jump.
I had the pleasure of getting a Root Canal on Friday morning and going to
Boise that afternoon to watch Mandy take fifth place in the 100 M Hurdles.
Not bad for only running them a total of five times in her life. We got home
about 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Saturday we got wind of the Jerry Danks 2001 7th Memorial Cruise
at Scotty's. We were the 169th car to enter. I might add we were the only
Corvette. I supposed there is a reason for that. It is
O.K. We saw a lot of cars and a lot friends. . Egon had his "My Friend" there:
it is a nice outfit.
Sorry we missed our cruise. We heard that the meal was great.
Thanks again to Wayne and Pam. See you at our next function.
That is all from the Bald Eagle this month.

May Meeting Minutes
By Pam Valentine
Seventeen cars met at Kentucky Fried Chicken at 5 p.m. From there
we traveled to Anglers Lodge via the scenic loop by Warm River and
Upper Mesa Falls, arriving at 8 p.m. for dinner. Ferrell Davidson told the
group about two weekend trips coming up.
On June 22, 2001 a trip to Montana will begin at Taylor Chevrolet at 4 p.m.
From there the group will go to Belgrade, Montana on Friday, on to Gates
of the Mountains on the 23rd, and on Sunday to Deer Lodge
and then home.
On July 13th, 14th, and 15th, a trip is
planned over Beartooth Pass by way of Victor. Plans are to stay
in Laurel and Thermopolis, WY. If there are any questions, call Ferrell Davidson.
Debbie Morris advised people to reserve their rooms for the Vette Fest
as soon as possible. Plans are proceeding nicely.
Randy Wagner asked each member to bring a list of their favorite places to
eat to the next meeting, which will be on June 14 at Big Juds in
Archer at 7 p.m. He will then contact the ones most in demand and ask them
to sponsor the club. Randy also asked that we all support our get-togethers
at Scotties on the first and third Thursdays of the month. A short cruise
will be planned afterwards.
On the first Sunday of June (June 3) the Tauphaus Park Show will be held.
Wanda Hughes is in charge of planning a cookout and potluck that day. Bring
your own meat and a potluck dish. Times were not discussed. (Call Wanda for
more information.)
The 4th of July parade route has been changed for the Rexburg
Celebration. There will be more information on that later.
I hope this data is correct. If you have any questions, call and I will try
to help.
