This menu option provides the ability to record or recall detail for a specific field test. Record results of soil tests and tissue analysis. This information is used by various reports to track results of your field crop operations. This option is really helpful to verify the detail of the different records of your field test.

Selecting this option activates the EVENTS | FIELD TEST | SOIL screen that follows.

To get a list of field test records, place your cursor in the name area and with your mouse move the cursor to HISTORY and click. This activates the following screen.

Move the cursor to the field test record desired and click. If you do not find the field test record needed...then scroll the list by placing the cursor on the right hand scroll bar. Select the item needed by clicking the mouse button or hitting the enter key.

To input information on the FIELD TEST | SOIL screen click on the appropriate field with your mouse, or press TAB to advance to each new data field. To move to a previous data input area press the SHIFT and TAB KEYS. You can also use the Hot Key by pressing the ALT KEY plus the underlined letter that is associated with each field.

The FIELD TEST | SOIL screen requires the following information:

FieldEnter or Select the field that was tested.
CropEnter or Select the crop that was tested. (Leaf or tissue test.) If you are recording just a soil test and the crop has not yet been determined. This input area is optional and may be shipped, by pressing the TAB KEY.
VarietyEnter the variety of the crop that was tested.
DateEnter the day of this test. i.e., April 12, 1994 enter as 4 12 94... the program will enter the slashes you just enter the numbers.
Soil AnalysisEnter the results of the soil test. Press TAB to advance to each item, or move your mouse cursor to the item and click. Also remember the HOT KEYS, ALT and the UNDERLINED LETTER.

After entering the information requested, save the screen by clicking on the checkmark () at the top of the screen.

Your new or edited information is now available to use on the other input screens or reports in the Field Manager program.
