The second FERTILIZER APPLICATION input screen is FERTILIZER. To activate this screen move the mouse cursor to the Fertilizer tab at the bottom of the Fertilizer Application screen and click the mouse button.
Selecting this option activates the FERTILIZER subscreen that follows.
To input information on the FERTILIZER subscreen click on the appropriate field with your mouse, or press TAB to advance to each new data field. To move to a previous data input area press the SHIFT and TAB KEYS. You can also use the Hot Key by pressing the ALT KEY plus the underlined letter that is associated with each field.
The FERTILIZER subscreen allows you to input the following information:
Fertilizer Name Enter the Fertilizer name. Notice the down arrow button to the right of this box. Clicking on this down arrow will activate a dialog box with all of the Fertilizer names previously entered. Select the one you need by highlighting it and clicking with your mouse or pressing the ENTER key.
| Type | Select the Fertilizer type liquid or dry by clicking on the appropriate type. |
| Unit Name | Enter the unit name or how the fertilizer is measured, e.g. gallons, lbs. |
| Unit Cost | Enter the unit cost of this fertilizer. |
| Rate-Units/Acre | Enter the rate in units per acre. |
| Water-Gal/Acre | Enter the amount of water used per acre. |
| Nutrients | Enter the nutrient amount for each of the items. Select either Units per acre or Percentages. |
After entering the information requested, save the screen by clicking on the checkmark (
) at the top of the screen.
Your new or edited information is now available to use on the other input screens or reports in the Field Manager program.
