Events | Chemicals
Use this option to record information on chemicals applied to your crops. You can record environmental conditions and detailed notes. This menu option provides the ability to record or recall detail for a specific chemical application on fields.
To record or review a chemical application you must first identify the chemical and the field where the chemical was applied. Selecting this option will activate the small screen that follows asking for a TURBO ID. Select the Chemical you want and click the OK button with the mouse or hit ENTER.
If you are recording a new application of a chemical select: FIELD.
If you are reviewing or editing an application from a previously defined field select the History icon in the upper right hand corner and select the field you want to work with.
Having selected the FIELD option, a screen showing a list of your fields is displayed. Using your mouse move the cursor to the FIELD you wish to record this chemical application to. If you are not using a mouse, use your UP or DOWN ARROW KEYS, and move to the field you need and press enter.
Selecting this option activates the CHEMICAL APPLICATION | FIELD/CROP screen that follows.
To input information on the CHEMICAL APPLICATION | FIELD/CROPS subscreen click on the appropriate field with your mouse, or press TAB to advance to each new data field. To move to a previous data input area press the SHIFT and TAB KEYS. You can also use the Hot Key by pressing the ALT KEY plus the underlined letter that is associated with each field.
The CHEMICAL APPLICATION | FIELD/CROPS screen allows you to input the following information:
| Field or Storage | Select a field or storage for your chemical application by moving the mouse cursor over your choice and clicking the mouse. |
| Field | Type in a field name or click on the down arrow icon located at the right of the box to activate a dialog box of all the fields previously setup. |
| Crop | Enter or select the crop currently growing in this field by typing in the information or opening the dialog box of previously entered crops. |
| Variety: | Enter the variety for this crop. |
| Date: | Enter the day of this test. i.e., April 12, 1994 enter as 4 12 94... the program will enter the slashes you just enter the numbers. |
| Time: | Enter the time of application. If AM use a 0 before the actual hours of 1-9. Then press TAB KEY to advance to record AM OR PM. |
| Height: | Enter the height of this crop, in inches. |
| Pest/Weed 1: | Record the pest or weed that this application is to control, if applicable. This input area is optional and may be skipped. Click on the down arrow icon located at the right of the box to activate a dialog box of all the Pests/Weeds previously setup. |
| Stage/Height: | Record the stage of the pest or the height of the weed recorded in the Pest/Weed Input Area. (Previous data input area.) |

Your new or edited information is now available to use on the other input screens or reports in the Field Manager program.
