When there is not a lot of dramatic difference between images in this 40 image animation, the animation speed really doesn't make much difference. But when there is a lot of dramatic difference between images, it would be nice if the animation speed was somewhat slower, so that the viewer would have more of chance to absorb the individual beauty and drama of each image. This is the case with todays animation I think (November 21, 2002). I would like to have somewhat more time to look at each of these images as they pass by. Maybe as much as a full second. Perhaps something could be added to the javascript image fader to give the user some control in this respect?
