The Sombrero Galaxy, M104. A nearly edge on galaxy, M104 is part of the Virgo galaxy cluster. It has features of a spiral galaxy and also an eliptical galaxy. A distinct dust lane is a prominent feature. Distance from earth is 41,000,000 light years.
