JPL's Space Calendar-
This is an online calendar of anniversaries and upcoming
events in space. It's also full of links to info on
the missions and spacecraft.
Information Clearinghouse, Inc.-
This site has a wealth of info about space, spinoffs,
and the space shuttle.
Liftoff to Space Exploration-
NASA's webpage for shuttle info about current and
future missions, the shuttle itself, and current cool
NASA web sites. Very thorough.

UMD SL9 homepage-
This is the U of MD's very own Shoemaker-Levy 9 homepage. You
can get lots of neat pictures thru here, but it's much better
for info about the actual observations (see Early Reports).
JPL SL9
Homepage-
Thi is one of the most complete and up to date homepages about
Shoemaker-Levy 9. There is very good stuff in here. Check it out.
Arizona SL9
Homepage-
This is another very nice SL9 homepage, one of the most used URL's
during the crash. There are many very nice pictures here.
Earth and Universe-
Lots of inlined images of stars, supernovae, galaxy clusters,
etc.
BWC's WWW stuff-
There are some interesting things in here. This guy has written some
programs that display the phase of the moon, the positions of
the planets, etc.
Skyview-
This is a very impressive interactive database of sky objects.
Pick an object, and see an image of it at any wavelength at
any size in any epoch...very very nicely done.
The Nine Planets-
This site is a "Multimedia Tour of the Solar System" by
Bill Arnett. It displays the most recent and beautiful
pics of the most prominent members of our Solar System and
gives general info about each.
The Solar Systerm Live-
See where the planets are in their orbits in relation
to the Sun, from any place and any time. There are also
links to other interactive Solar System web sites including
an
Earth Viewer and
Terranova.

This is the place to go for the beginning amateur astronomer.
